The Russian road doesn’t have an asphalt surface, consequently when ever it rains the road is paralyzed. These photos were taken a when over 500 cars and trucks got horribly stuck. Workers were afraid to help because during their previous visit, they were beaten by people who had been stuck in the traffic jam for days. No wonder some of the lorry drivers carry guns, because frustrated motorists raid their stationary lorries for food and warm clothes.
